On Earth, a day is divided into 24 hours. The sun rises, reaches its highest point, and then sets, making way for the moon.

Despite the consistent and predictable cycle of the sun and moon, we often find ourselves overwhelmed by the demands of daily life, leaving little time for introspection and self-care. While the celestial bodies follow a harmonious rhythm, our human lives are often chaotic and disjointed, filled with stress and anxiety.

If the sun and moon, celestial bodies that have been following their regular cycles for countless millennia, can each claim their rightful place within the cosmic dance of time.

Why do we, mere mortals, who inhabit this planet for a fleeting moment, feel so overwhelmed by the passage of time? Despite having the entire day at our disposal, we often find ourselves rushing from one task to the next, driven by the relentless pursuit of productivity and the constant pressure to achieve more.

We neglect the importance of pausing, reflecting, and simply being present in the moment. It is as if we are caught in a whirlwind of activity, unable to find a moment of peace amidst the chaos.

If the sun and moon can have their specific times, why do we, who have the whole day, feel like we don’t have enough time?

In the swift passage of 24 hours, surely there is room for even a brief moment dedicated to Oneself. Amid the rush of deadlines and obligations, we often neglect the need for personal reflection. Yet, in the midst of busyness, a mere five minutes can provide a crucial pause — a small oasis in the desert of our day, a moment to step away from the chaos and reconnect with our inner selves.

Take a moment to be still and listen to your inner voice. Who knows, within those 300 seconds, you may uncover the essence of true peace.

Five minutes, I implore you, five minutes. Choose to reserve that time for yourself. Time, when given to the self, takes on a new dimension, especially when we find ourselves in dire need of it.
